Amelia Ritchie dominates in Inter-house athletics action
Amelia Ritchie has won a maximum 18 points for her House this week in inter-house athletics. A truly incredible achievement that surely has not happened too many times in the College's history? Amelia managed to break the school record in each of the 3 events she took part in. She won the 1500m, the javelin and the ball throw in her age category. Well done Amelia, outstanding!
Spencer Thomas wins the boys' 800m & 1500m in record times
On Monday night this week, Spencer Thomas of Nelson House, won the Under 16 boys' 800m race in a blistering time of 2 minutes 14 seconds, beating the College's long standing record of 2 mins 18 set by M Kelly in 1981. Last night, Spencer doubled his win tally and won another 6 points for Nelson House by smashing the College's 1500m record by 16 seconds in a time of 4 mins 38. Stuart Nayar, an Old Shorehamer and the previous record holder, who dominated distance athletics during his days at Shoreham College, was there to watch Spencer and congratulate him after the race. Well done on your wins this week Spencer, truly awesome!

U14 & U15 Rounders v Brighton College 22.5.2012
The U14 & U15 rounders team had wonderful matches in the glorious sunshine against Brighton College.
The U15's played with tremendous team spirit and with Charlotte Allcock hitting the ball for miles across the field. Olivia Foley and Katie Thomas made some amazing catches too. Although they led by one rounder at the half way point, Brighton College came away with the victory.
Player of the Match: Olivia Foley, Charlotte Allcock and Katie Thomas.
The U14's had a bit of a sleepy game, and struggled to find their momentum in the match. Although there were some good moments they couldn't quite catch up and lost the match 15-10.
